Atlanta Community Food Bank
The Johnson and Freedman, LLC Foreclosure Department inspected, sorted and packed donations of non-perishable food, paper goods and cleaning products for distribution to non-profit assistance programs at the Atlanta Community Food Bank's Product Rescue Center.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank supplies food and other much needed products to nearly 700 non-profit agencies in Metropolitan Atlanta and Northwest Georgia-- including homeless shelters, soup kitchens, day care centers, nursing homes, job training programs and battered women's shelters.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta
Johnson and Freedman attorneys and staff members participate in the 2003 Bowl for Kids' Sake Tournament on March 22, 2003. Johnson and Freedman employees raised $1788.00 in donations to benefit the mentoring efforts of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta exists to strengthen the family by providing one-to-one friendships for children from those families with adult volunteers.   The organization is funded primarily through private gifts and grants. Special events, including Bowl for Kids' Sake, are the agency's secondary source of support.

Junior Achievement of Georgia
Johnson & Freedman regularly supports Junior Achievement of Georgia through its annual Job Shadow Days, Bowl-A-Thons and Classroom Volunteering.  We always look forward to our annual Job Shadow Day, as this enables us to share real-life situations and applications with the students which are relative to the mortgage industry.  The litigation department's mock trial proves to be a big hit with the kids!  By participating in Junior Achievement's annual Bowl-A-Thons, Johnson & Freedman has collectively raised over $9,500.00 in the past three years!  Several of our employees have also participated in classroom volunteering.  This not only directly impacted the lives of the students, but impacted us as well.  We thorougly enjoyed meeting the students on their level, in their environment, and sharing with them many things which are applicable to their every day lives.
